Full Moon - The Moon is 180-225 degrees ahead of the sun. The moon
rises at sunset and sets at dawn, therefore a midnight working (or when the moon
is directly overhead) is best. Now the moon is at the height of its strength - spells
cast at this time are ideal for completion. The Mother is represented by the Full
Moon. This is the prime time for rituals for prophecy, protection, and divination.
Any working that needs extra power, such as help finding a new job or healings
for serious conditions, can be done now. Also love, knowledge, legal undertakings,
money and dreams.  Astrologically the Sun and Moon are in opposition (ie., opposite
each other in the sky and in opposition signs of the zodiac). She opens and blossoms
during the Full Moon into the FLOWER, with the desire to share Her beauty with
others. Keywords for the Full phase are: fulfillment, illumination, realization and experience.
It is the time in a lunar cycle that you are given a clear view so that you can make
adjustments to put you back on track to manifesting the goals you set at the New Moon
phase. Go to a public place. Do something with a friend. LISTEN. Receive awareness.
Understand others.

Moon in Capricorn - The Moon in Capricorn inspires our ambitions for good or ill, we
just have to be more gentle on our souls if we're not there yet. Lead and manage but do
not manipulate or control. This transit is a time to: build, dig, organize, exercise discipline,
work on foundations, make practical progress on a dream. This transit concerns leadership
issues, security, responsibilities, the need to be recognized, the desire to create environments,
a time to take care of business, deal with alternative healing for your body and intensification
of your powers of concentration.
After Sagittarius expansiveness, we now feel contraction and a time to pay attention to our
needs for security, duties, obligations, drives and ambitions. It's a good time for setting goals,
'going for it' materially as now we feel persistent and ambitious. But it is a bad time to ask or
obtain anything from patriarchal and established authorities.  Capricorn brings a desire to
create environments and energy is slowed down. Be careful to avoid insensitivity to others
and stay out of negative and pessimistic mind sets that will only drag you down. Take this
moon transit to deal with your material plane, especially if you have neglected it too long.
Do non-traditional healing as Capricorn is the sign of the Medicine Womon. Moon in
Capricorn is the best time to work magick for organization, ambition, recognition, career,.
and political matters. Healing rituals for the knees, bones, teeth, and skin are also done at
this time. Those born under a Capricorn Moon have a strong work ethic, competence, and
leadership capacity, but need to learn to love themselves holding still. These Capricorn Moon
people came here to accomplish and understand compassionate leadership. They may need
to respect other rhythms and to love themselves not just what they do. They offer us
constructive determination and practical support.

Full Moon in Capricorn (Cancer Sun) - At this full moon the goats' horns mirror the ebb
and flow of the moon. An old symbol of the goat was the unicorn - someone in charge of their
own affairs. Rituals may be hard to get off the ground because of all the grounded earth energy,
but they can be a lot of fun once they get going.

First Quarter Moon phase - The moon entered the First Quarter phase yesterday at
11:30PM EDST. This puts the Moon at 90-135 degrees ahead of the sun, rising a little
after noontime and setting after mmidnight.  Sunset is the prime time for the waxing Moon.
From the time a New Moon is sighted until it reaches the height of it's power at a full moon.
The lunar power constantly increases during this time and as such it's an ideal time to cast
a spell requiring the fulfillment of a request. The waxing moon time of a lunar cycle is for
constructive magick, such as love, wealth, success, courage, friendship, luck or health.
Astrologically the Moon is square  to the Sun. The First Quarter Moon is the GROWTH
phase of the lunar plant.  Roots go deeper, stems shoot up and leaves form as she creates
a new strong body. Keywords for the First Quarter are: action, expression, growth, and
breaking away. It is the time in a lunar cycle to take the initial action necessary to achieve
your goal by expressing your needs and desires. FEEL & MOVE. Make phone calls.
Write letters. Dance. Act now. Those who are born during the First Quarter live a full,
active life - old structures are cleared away providing room for new developments.

Moon in Libra - Moon in Libra opens our sociability, brings a friendly egalitarian vibe
and encourages us to connect. We feel the need for beauty like we need air. This transit
is the time to seek justice, romance, meet, approach, create, beautify, find our core
balance and balance our needs with others. The Moon in a Libra transit highlights the magick
of the dance of inter-relatedness - friendly, romantic and searching for a way to connect.
Libra asks us to treat those around us as equals and make sure our politics and art,
our lovemaking and our networks integrate. Tend to the beauty of the garden, cultivate
but don't plant. Moon in Libra is the best time to work magick involving artistic work,
justice, court cases, partnerships and unions, mental stimulation and karmic, spiritual
or emotional balance. Healing rituals for ailments of the lower back or kidneys are also
done during this period of time. Those born under a Libra Moon are peacemakers, but
need to remember to keep themselves in the equation. They see the beauty and seek
fairness, help us to understand one another.

Moon Day - the Day for Remembering and Feeling - Impression Day ....  Magickally Moon
Day encourages the lunar energies of inspiration, illusions, prophetic dreams, emotions,
psychic abilities, travel, women's mysteries and fertility.

There is something alluring about staying in tune with the moon as She waxes and wanes
through Her cycles. I think one of the most profound ways any Witch can do is to watch
the moon every day, weather and clear skies permitting, is to learn where the Moon rises,
sets, and can be found in the sky. And yes, during phases, you will be able to see the
Moon in the daylight skies. This is a powerful time to do any type of magick. With both
the Sun and Moon present in the sky together, you'll have quite a bit of magickal punch to
tap into.

Moon in Virgo - The Moon in Virgo sends us back to work after Leo's party mood
and gives us a to-do list. We become impatiently aware of what needs to be improved,
fixed or healed. Our compassion is strong, but we can get irritated at less industrious
folk.  This transit is a time to: weed, edit, critique, care, exercise, investigate, study, heal
but be gentle with others. Virgo asks us to consider what needs healing, what needs
composting. It's time to study, learn, train, organize and turn our compassion into pragmatic
action. Don't get stuck in your head. Weed, plant, and care for medicinal herbs. During
this transit important issues are practicality, organization, cleaning up your diet or your house,
healing your body or offering healing to others and attending to loose ends. After the Leo
party it's time to clean up our act and turn our attentions to the matter of our health and
hygiene. Practical Virgo cleans the house, sets things in order, washes the dog, and harvests
the vegetable. She purifies and organizes our diet, setting us on the healthy road for this
lunar cycle. It is a time of taking responsibility and cleaning up the messes we've been leaving.
Virgo brings painstaking attention to detail; housecleaning is a good way to work through a
Virgo transit. During a Virgo women are mentally active but there is a tendency to excessive
criticism both of oneself and others. Emotionally it's an inward time when we can reflect on
personal relationships. Moon in Virgo is the best time to work magick involving employment,
intellectual matters, health and dietary concerns. Healing rituals for ailments of the intestines
or nervous system are also done during this period of time. Those born under a Virgo Moon
sign are curious, responsible, caring but need to cultivate gentle acceptance of self and
others.

Crescent Moon - The Moon is 45-90 degrees ahead of the sun.
The crescent shape faces East, the gates of rebirth. The Moon
rises mid-morning and sets after sunset. The crescent's greatest
strength is at the midpoint. Work magick for animals, business,
change, emotions and matriarchal strength.
The Crescent Moon is the first sliver of Moon seen in the
western sky in the late afternoon and early evening. The crescent
moon is SPROUT. The seed has broken through the earth and
reaches up as she ventures from the dark, moist earth she has
known. Keywords for the Crescent Moon phase are expansion,
growth, struggle, and opportunity. It is the time in a lunar cycle that
you gather the wisdom learned in the New phase and communicate
your intention to move forward. Light a candle. Write or read an
affirmation. LISTEN & ABSORB. Commit to your goal(s).

Saturn 's Day - the Day of Manifestation and Structure, Assessment
and Responsibility - Foundation Day ......Saturdays are traditionally days
to work on protection, remove obstacles, bind troublesome or dangerous
individuals and banish negativity. Saturdays are like 'let's clean house' day.
Any magickal messes left lying around that need to be addressed, or any
problems that need to be cleared up, as best dealt with on the day devoted
to Saturn.
Saturdays are the particular day of the week for protection and for dealing
with more serious magickal matters. Meditate on Hecate to learn her lessons
and include some dark goddess wisdom into your Craft. As a Witch you already
know that you have power - the power to effect real change in your life. Working
with Hecate can teach you how and when to best use this power for the greater
good.

Invocation to Hecate

Cauldrons, three keys and black dogs that bay at the moon
Grant me wisdom and strength, pray hear this Witch's tune
Goddess of the crossroads, Hecate, I call upon you
Come lend your magick to mine; my need is strong and true.

Remember to thank Hecate for her time and attention when you are finished with
your witchery.

Summer Solstice - Summer Solstice marks the peak of the solar cycle. In the
midst of the longest day of the year, we simultaneously begin our return to the
dark half of the year. Summer Solstice is active: it's about about doing and
expanding , living the dream envisioned in the dreamtime of Winter. The Earth
is fertile, and the womb of the Earth Mother grows ripe with life.
In the mythic cycle of the Goddess, the Maiden Goddess experiences the
joy of union with Her creative, sexual, sensual Self and begins to manifest Her
creations. Thus, this holiday begins the Maiden Goddess's transition to the
cycle of the Mother Goddess as Maker/Creatrix.
Honor and celebrate the many ways you manifest the creativity in your life.
Regardless of whether a woman physically gives birth, she becomes 'Mother'
when she nurtures, sustains, and protects life, human or other species, through
her life's work and activism. Where is your passionate energy focused in your
life? How do you feed your creative fire? How are you a 'Mother/Maker/Creatrix'?
How do you nurture, sustain and protect your creations?

Question: Why isn’t the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, also the hottest day of the year?

Answer: Earth’s atmosphere, land, and oceans absorb part of the incoming energy from the Sun and store it, releasing it back as heat at various rates. Water is slower to heat (or cool) than air or land. At the summer solstice, the Northern Hemisphere receives the most energy (highest intensity) from the Sun due to the angle of sunlight and day length. However, the land and oceans are still relatively cool, due to spring’s temperatures, so the maximum heating effect on air temperature is not felt just yet. Eventually, the land and, especially, oceans will release stored heat from the summer solstice back into the atmosphere. This usually results in the year’s hottest temperatures appearing in late July, August, or later, depending on latitude and other factors. This effect is called seasonal temperature lag.

New Moon - The Moon is 0-45 degrees directly ahead of the sun,
rises at dawn and sets at sunset. Magick should be performed between
dawn and sunset. A New Moon's power may be embryonic, you can be
assured that the power of any spell cast at this time will continue to increase
in power as time goes by.Working with Sun Goddesses such as Sekhmet,
Vesta, and Heartha or the God Ra will increase power. Work for self-
improvement, gardening, careers and romance. At the New Moon (or
dark moon) is astrologically in conjunction  with the Sun. Because the
Sun's light overpowers the nearby Moon in the day, and the Moon is
on the other side of the Earth with the Sun at night, she is not visible in
the sky at all. The New Moon is like a SEED planted in the earth. We
cannot see her but she is ready grow, full of potential and energy for her
new journey. This is beginning of a new lunar cycle. Keywords for the New
phase are: beginning, birth, emergence, projection and clarity. It is the time
in a lunar cycle that you are stimulated to take a new action. During this
phase the new cycle is seeded by your vision, inner and outer. Engage in
physical activity. Speed some time alone. VISUALIZE your goals for the
29.6-day cycle ahead.

Moon in Cancer - The Moon in Cancer deepens our feelings; our moods
are stormy and vast, our hunger and desire to feed others sharpens. We protect
our own, nest in our cave, need to know we're safe. Hunger grows, but for
more than food. This transit is a time to water, plant, feed, nest, feel the need
for comfort and seek security and diving deep into our feelings. With Moon in
Cancer our feelings take the lead. Cancer encourages the wisdom rising out of
our oceanic unconscious through moods and feelings. Ground in the magick of
our home/earth as a temple. Ask what needs protecting and feeding. Plant, water,
and fertilize your garden.
This transit concerns desires about a home, emotional security, entertaining friends,
cooking, security issues, nostalgia and the desire to nurture. Women are emotionally
and psychically sensitive at this time, and due to these strong emotions, it is a
'crybaby' moon transit. Because of Cancer bringing heightened sensitivity, we have a
deep-seated need for security; there is a greater interest in food preparation and this
can easily lead to self-indulgence and food binges. Cancer is the home of the moon,
sensitive planet of emotions, so feelings are easily hurt, especially personal criticism,
Handle with care.
For hoping for children, this is most fertile moon sign and the best time to create
new life or growth of any kind. This is not a transit when it's easy to be alone,. as needs
for security in love and friendship are high. Nostalgia reigns supreme. Moon in Cancer is
the best time to work magick for home and domestic life. Healing rituals for ailments of
the chest, or stomach are also done during this period of time.
As the Moon moves towards Leo, (Thursday early after, the 21st), it is a time of great
personal warmth and friendship. Be careful to avoid conflict, as a grudge formed now
will take a long time to heal. If you want your hair to grow quickly, have it cut in a Cancer
Moon. Those born under Cancer Moon sign can be wonderfully nurturing to our culture,
body and soul when we feel safe. Early mother/home issues can be composted into
empathic understanding.

Blodeuwedd's Cycle of the Moon - The Goddess Blodeuwedd is both Flower Bride and
Owl of Wisdom - She who blossoms by day and hunts by night. Leaving the shade of the
Otherworld behind, Blodeuwedd dances into the returning dawn to don her blossoming
mantle of rebirth. Her energy rejuvenates the Land, granting Sovereignty to those She deems
worthy. Rejecting the confines by the expectations of others, it is the choice to live Her truth
that causes Blodeuwedd to trade her fragile petals for a feathered cloak of her own design.
Sharp-taloned and keep keen-eyed, the transformed Blodeuwedd helps us to see through
the darkness of the Shadow so that we may grip tight to that which we wish to reclaim and
all that we wish to become. No wilting flower, Her owl aspect is filled with the wisdom that
can only be found through liberating the authentic self from the fetters of external influences
and the parts we are expected to play.
Having faced the challenges of our Shadows and uncovering the gifts that lay within our
deepest depths of our Self, we too must return into the light in order to actualize the promise
and potential that was unearthed in the darkness. Like Blodeuwedd, a coat of expectation is
overlain upon our person by others and we are consigned to repeat our outmoded patterns
of limitation and to perform the roles demanded of us in our daily life - unless we conscously
choose otherwise.
In the wake of the renewal that comes with the Light Half of the Cycle, we are faced with
a choice: to manifest the authentic woman found deep within, or to remain in the roles others
would see us fulfill, With the choice to be true to the Self comes wisdom gained, earning our
spiritual wings for flight and lifting us above all that we have been. Our perspective shifts and
our eyes become owl wide., granting us the ability to see the truth through the shroud of the
darkness that once hindered our sight.
[From: Avalon Within: Inner Sovereignty and Personal Transformation Through the
Avalonian Mysteries by Jhenah Telynoru, first edition]

Invocation to Blodeuwedd - "Holy Blodeuwedd, Lady of Nine Flowers, fill me with your
blessings of renewal and the joy of empowered flight. Flower Faced Owl, teach me the
power of my Choices that I may embrace my authentic Self, even in the face of other's
expectations. Keen-eyed Hunter in the Night, help me to see past the illusion-shrouded
darkness that my eyes may stay focused on that which is the essence of my being, my
sharp talons never losing their grip upon the path of Truth."
[Also from above book cited]

Tiu's Day - Mars Day - the Day of Activity and Physicality, Passion and Desire... Action Day
Tuesday is associated with the planet Mars. In mythology, Mars was the Roman god of war.
If you're wondering  how this day came to be named, it's because to the Norse, Anglo-Saxon
and Germanic people, this day was Twi's Day. Tuesday actuallt got its name from the Norse
deity Tyr, Tiw, or Tiu, who was also a god of battles and courage. This deity was very similar
to the Roman Mars, and the names of the days of the week became switched and substituted
as the Germanic peoples replaced the older deities with their own gods. So the name changed from
Latin Dies Martis (Mar's Day) to the Old English Tiwesdaeg. This day's planetary influence
brings with it aggression, bravery, and honor of soldiers, as well as the passions and strengths
of those of us who must fight for what we believe in.
Become a magickal warrior and move forward in your life with strength, courage, and compassion.
Embrace the side of yourself that loves a good challenge and that is passionate daring! Banish fear,
and face your future with strength and conviction. Believe in yourself and in your dreams, work hard,
nnd you will win every time.
So, let's add a little passion and conviction into your life! Break out the daring red pieces of your
wardrobe and put a little pizzazz into the rest of your day.

Moon in Gemini - The Moon moved into Gemini early this morning in preparation
for the New Moon this coming Tuesday.  The Moon in Gemini wakes us up; we lose
ouf concentration but quicken our communication. The conversation sparkles, our
thinking broadens but doesn't deepen. This transit is a time to: network, investigate,
meditate, brainstorm, prune and edit, explain and broadcast. Our nervous system is
quickened - build a web of understanding - absorb new information. Speak to your
plants, trim them but avoid planting. This is a time of communication and other means
of expression, freedom, adaptability, short journeys, reading or writing, a desire for
variety and having more than one thing going at once. We are more adaptable and
changeable so take all statements and promises with a grain of salt especially if the
person you are dealing with has proven to be fickle in the past. It's a hard time to
make decisions but a good time to use your wit and cleverness in conversation.
Issues pf the practical world are set aside. Towards the end of this transit, as the
Moon approaches the sign of Cancer, interactions and communications become
more emotional. Moon in Gemini is the best time to work magick for good
communication, change of residence, writing, public relations and travel. Healing
rituals for ailments of the shoulders, arms or lungs are also done during this period
of time. Those born under a Gemini Moon sign can talk to anyone, think fast, multi-
task and shift mood with grace but need to choose depth and focus.

Balsamic Moon - (or waning Crescent Moon) rises before dawn and set late
midafternoon. She is the last sliver of the Moon seen in the eastern sky in the
dawn and in the very early morning. The Crescent shape turns westward, to
the realm of death. The power of the moon is  now waning , being drawn
inside for later use. Cast spells now requiring resolution or something to be
concluded. The waning crescent is used for banishing magick, for ridding
oneself of addictions, illness or negativity.  The Balsamic Moon is the COMPOST
phase, when the nutrients of the moon plant remain in the soil, providing nourishment
for the next new seed. This phase is ending of one cycle and the beginning of another.
Keywords for the Balsamic Moon phase are: transition, release, transformation,
renewal and purity. It is the phase in a lunar cycle when you must let go of
everything you have been working on that does not deal with the current cycle
issues. During this phase you reflect on the passing cycle and prepare for the New.
Trust in renewal. It is important to separate from others now so that you can clear
the intellect of negativity. LET GO . Become still and meditate.

Moon in Taurus - The Moon in Taurus grounds us; it slows us down
and wakes our sensual nature and stubbornness, helps us dig deeper
roots. This transit is a time to garden, plant, cultivate seeds, relationships,
and ideas, make love, nurture, take a stand and embody. The Moon in
Taurus asks us to discover what nurtures us and how to grow deeper
roots. We can almost feel the mud oozing between our toes, awakening
our senses and sensuality and growing  our stubbornness. Plant anything
you want to grow strong and fertile. This lunar transit concerns money,
work, property, the body, home and family, sensuality, building cautiously
and slowly, being conscientious, growth, sensitivity, planting  and emotional
patterns based on security. The energy flow is even and a time for us to
experience the sensual.
The forceful forward movement of Aries becomes solid, calm, and patient
during Taurus. There is a desire to protect material goods and a strong need
for financial security.  It is a poor time for change or getting a loan as people
are very cautious and reserved about money especially during the first part
of the transit.
The middle of Taurus is more calm. It is a good time to continue or to
finish projects or to stay at home with family. Taurus gives attention to order
and detail. Emotionally there is stubbornness, but great sensitivity to others.
This sensual sign is a good time to appreciate the wonders of the beautiful
earth. During a Moon in Taurus transit you might want to work in the garden.
Taurus is the best time to work magick for love, real estate, material
acquisitions and money. Healing rituals for ailments of the throat, neck, and
ears are also done during this period of time. Those born under a Taurus Moon
root deeply and change slowly; they collect, touch, support and see the sacred
in the world of matter. Steady, they can loan their strengths to others, but may
need to learn the beauty in change.

Thor's Day - Jupiter Day - the Day of Vision, Spiritual Insight and Expansion ...
Thursdays have the planetary association of Jupiter, and this day of the week is
associated with prosperity, abundance, leadership and good health.  What a good
day to have the Moon in the sign of Taurus. Just by believing in yourself and
working toward creating abundance, health and prosperity you have already
begun to transform your outlook on life. Think positively. Use your imagination,
and check out Thor's Day correspondence list - Candles of purple, royal blue
and green; Incenses and essential oils in the scents of clove, honeysuckle. nutmeg
and sage; stones of turquoise, sapphire and amethyst.  Lay out the tarot cards of
Ten of Pentacles, Nine of Pentacles and the Ace Pentacles -take careful look
at their images - how can you incorporate those symbols into spells of your own
design..   Brew up a pot of mint tea to help your increase your cash flow.  Try
adding a pinch of nutmeg or cinnamon to an unscented candle to encourage some
fast cash. Bake up a loaf wheat bread and celebrate abundance and be thankful
for all that you have. Use your imagination and see what others bewitching things
you can conjure up for prosperity magick all by yourself.

Last Quarter Moon - This phase which the moon entered June 11th, Monday, at 6:41AM
is the HARVEST phase - the moon plant gives her life so that others may continue theirs. The
moon rises after midnight and is setting mid-afternoon now. Keywords for the Last Quarter
phase are: realignment, revision, integration, and cleansing. It is the time in a lunar cycle to take
closing action, to follow-up and complete the activities begun at the New Moon phase. During
this phase you become aware of what is and is not working with respect to the achievement of
your goal(s) for this cycle. This movement is toward integration. Open to your successes.
MANIFEST YOUR GOAL. Be responsible.

Moon in Aries - The Moon in Aries lights a fire under our tails; it wakes us up and
strips away our complications and our patience. We can make a fresh start but tend
to shoot from the hip, move fast, and argue quickly. This transit ends tonight at 11:09PM.
And the Moon won't enters the zodiac sign of Taurus until tomorrow at 12:22PM EDST.
Those born under an Aries Moon sign are passionate, honest and fierce, and big-hearted
but intensely self-directed. They are happy to loan their fire to inspire others, just don't
tell them what to do.

Sun Day - the Dat of Intent, Creation and Renewal... Creation Day - The Latin term for
Sunday, the first day of the week, is Dies Solis ('sun's day'). In ancient Greek it was
called Hermena Heliou. In the Old English language, it was known as Sunnandaeg; in
Middle English Sonenday. All of these titles mean the same thing, the day of the sun.
So today light up those sunny candles (gold, yellow, yellow-orange, neon shades of
orange and yellow and hot pink), wear some luminous colors and break out your gold
jewelry to place around the sunny candles. How about eating some cinnamon rolls or
muffins today and perhaps an orange. Burning cinnamon-scented incense could encourage
those spells for success and/or wealth today. Sprinkle some dried marigold petals around
your house - or across the thresholds - to bring triumph and protection toward you and
your family.
Get outside and turn your face up to the sun. Take a walk and soak up some sunshine!
In my area this is going to be a great day for doing that.

Why Daily Correspondences Are Important - When you add complementary natural
items such as coordinating candles, crystals, herbs, flowers and colors to your daily spells
and charms, you can increase the effectiveness of your witchery. How, you may ask? Well,
these items will help link your Witchcraft together with that day's magickal energies. One
good example of this is the power of color. Every day of the week has its own special
magickal colors. This practical type of magick should never be underestimated, even by the
more experienced Witch. If you select a color that harmonizes with your personal energies
or goals for the day, then you flourish.
As you begin to focus on daily magickal correspondences, you begin to realize that the
simple use of crystals, oils, flowers, and colors not only influence positively your personality
but your thoughts and life as well. These daily correspondences and coordinating natural
items can actually strengthen the effects of a charm or spell. They will allow you more creative
ways to personalize your Witchcraft, and they will help unify your spell work.

Moon in Pisces - The Moon in Pisces reveals our permeability. We
dream, and need to ground our dreams. We care, but can become
overwhelmed by our awareness unless we feel spirit working though us.
This transit is a time to: imagine, share, sense, meditate, nurture, soak,
and find constructive ways to be sensitive. With Moon in Pisces we feel
the world with compassion, heightened senses and strong imagination.
We need quiet time in the temple or back under our covers to deal
with sensory overload. This is a time to vision, listen to inner voices,
allow creative juices to flow and touch each other with new awareness.
In your garden, plant, transplant, water and fertilize.  During Moon in
Pisces emotional life is more introverted. Intuition is at its height and
psychic energy is powerful. You are now able to get in touch with your
deepest self, but it can also be a time of vagueness, unclarity, and
uncertainty. Pisces is about endings as a result of internal processing.
With this Moon you may notice a moodiness in others around you, yet
it's also an opportunity to fully appreciate art and beauty.
Many women have a good cry with Moon in Pisces, washing away
trouble. Or you can be the compassionate friend or sister who needs to
share her troubles. We cry during Moon in Pisces because it's the most
watery of all signs. Pisces Moon brings retreat into the self to do the
internal processing an d contemplation necessary at least once during a
lunar cycle. The outer world 'busyness' becomes fuzzy and vague. Issues
are clouded and cold hard facts slide through your fingers like slippery
fish. Things are not what they seem, so don't be confused by this transit.
Moon in Pisces is the best time to work magick involving dreamwork,
clairvoyance, telepathy, music and the creative arts. Healing rituals for
ailments of the feet or lymph glands are also done at this time. Those born
under a Pisces Moon sign came here to feel everything; they may need
to filter impressions and find their deep strength. They offer us insight,
imagination and subtle compassionate medicine while encouraging our
visions.  They are sensitive, intuitive, responsive, and compassionate;
their dreams are a gift.

Saturn's Day - the Day of Manifestation and Structure, Assessment
and Responsibility - Foundation Day ..... Saturdays are traditionally days
to work on protection, remove obstacles, bind troublesome or dangerous
individuals and banish negativity. Saturdays are like a 'let's clean house'
day. Any magickal messes left lying around that need to be addressed or
any problems that need to be cleared up, are best dealt with on the day
devoted to Saturn. Are you feeling the need for psychic cleansing in
the house?  Light up some patchouli- or myrrh- scented incense, and
wave the smoke around your house or apartment. It will help break up
any lingering negativity or bad feelings. Crumble up a few dried mullein
leaves and create a circle around your home or scatter it across thresholds,
to keep prowlers away.
Burn a few black candles to repel manipulative intentions or unwanted
advances. Add a few protective herbs to your dinner such as thyme or basil.
Saturdays are the particular day of the week for protection and dealing with
more serious magickal matters. Meditate on Hecate to learn her lessons and
include some dark goddess wisdom into your Craft. As a Witch, you already
know that you have power - the power to effect real change in your life.
Working with Hecate can teach you how and when to best this power for the
greater good.

Freya's Day - Venus Day - the Day of Sharing and Relationship....Fridays are classically are
days for love, fertility, romance, and beauty magick as well as working for happiness, harmony
in the home and friendship. In Latin, this day is know as Dies Veneris, 'Venus's Day'. In Greek,
it's Hermera Aphrodite4s, which translates to 'the day of Aphrodite.' In Old English, this day
is called Frigedaeg, or 'Freya's day'. This day has the Germanic title of Frije-dagaz, which
once again, could Freya's day or Frigga's day.
Fridays are days of loving enchantments and passionate emotions. See how many ways
you could add a little loving enchantment into your life and the lives of your loved ones.
Advancing your magickal skills takes drive, ambition, and passion. Think of all the magickal
information that you can add to your repertoire of witchery. Light up pink, aqua and green
candles today, and get out your rose quartz, amber, coral and an emerald to spread around
the burning candles.  Add burning incense with smells of apple, freesia, germanium, hyacinth,
lilac, rose geranium, vanilla, violet leafe, and ylang-ylang.    Eat strawberries, they are in season
now and raspberries may be available too. Do you have a copper cup? Use this as a chalice
on this small altar. Perhaps you would like to add a rose or two, strawberry flowers or violets.

Disseminating Moon - The moon rises at mid-evening and sets at mid-morning.
The time of the souls (3AM) would be the midpoint here. Banishing work starts
now. Workings should focus upon addiction, decisions, divorce, emotions, stress,
and protection. The Disseminating Moon is the waning Full Moon getting visibly
smaller. She is visible the time she rises almost until she sets. As we go into the
darkening phase of the Disseminating Moon we get the FRUIT of the moon plant's
life cycle - the fruits of wisdom and experience. Keywords for the Disseminating
phase are: demonstration, distribution, sharing and introspective. It is the time in a
lunar cycle to further process your advance towards your goal(s) by looking at the
results of your adjusting action taken at the Full phase> During this phase you gain
clarity by sharing what you've learned through awareness. Demonstrate your power
of abundance by giving back to your community. Visit friends, Distribute your
knowledge. SHARE. Reach out and touch someone. Those born under a Disseminating
Moon feel that life must have meaning, purpose. They enjoy sharing their ideas with
others.

Moon in Aquarius - The Moon in Aquarius connects us to our community, reminds us
that we are in this together. It asks us to make sure we walk our talk and integrate our
philosophy with our politics. We abstract, communicate and work the crowd, but may
be less intimate. This is a transit of dealing with facts, organizing, political issues, desire
to save the world through social action, connecting with others in social situations, scientific
pursuits, detachment and the need to come and go without restrictions.
Aquarius Moon's monthly transit is a dramatic mood change. Where Capricorn values
tradition and caution, Aquarius indicates anything new, innovative, different or unconventional.
Extremes of behavior occur during this moon transit, especially extremes of optimism and
pessimism. Women feel the need to be friendly and social but don't want to be too personal
or go too deep. Aquarius Moon can be detached or rational rather than emotional, and will
change only if it's logical to do so. Aquarius is definitely her sister's keeper. She believes
'what happens to one woman happens to us all.' Freedom is very important now, and you
need to live with as few restrictions as possible. Groups play a big part in this moon as
Aquarius favors any kind of group interaction such as a ritual. The Moon in Aquarius expands
our circles and offers the magick of collaboration; spirit and politics weave together. We can
get too farsighted now and need to stay aware of others' feelings. Let go of assumptions
and find new, unusual allies. This is a time to gather plants, mulch, prune and talk to your
garden. Moon in Aquarius is the best time to work magick involving science, freedom,
creative expression, problem-solving, extrasensory abilities, friendship and the breaking
of bad habit or unhealthy addictions. Healing rituals for ailments of the calves, ankles, or
blood are also done at this time. Those born under an Aquarius Moon are far sighted with
a gentle stubbornness; they understand group dynamics and may be more aware in family,
tribe or community than they are in their most intimate relations.

Thor's Day - Jupiter Day - the Day of Vision, Spiritual Insight and Expansion....Thursday has
the planetary association of Jupiter and this day of the week is associated with prosperity,
abundance, leadership and good health. Prosperity and abundance are the typical magickal
concerns on a Thursday however, the way people define prosperity can vary greatly between
individuals. Just by believing in yourself and working toward creating abundance, health and
prosperity, you will have already begun to transform your outlook on life. Light up some green,
purple and/or royal blue candles - burn some honeysuckle, sage, nutmeg or clove incense and
rub these essential oils on the candle you burn.  Set out an amethyst, turquoise or sapphire by
candles and the tarot cards of Ten of Pentacles, Nine of Pentacles and the Ace of Pentacles.
If you have them, use tin candlestick holders or perhaps use a tin cup of water for a chalice.
Sprinkle some cinnamon on a slice of wheat toast and eat by your little altar.
Looking at these correspondences for this day's magick see what other bewitching things
you can conjure up for prosperity magick all by yourself.

all of the planetary and magickal energies and associations of the witty and nimble god Mercury
himself. Some of these mercurial traits included good communication skills, cleverness, intelligence,
creativity. business sense, writing, artistic talent, trickiness and thievery. Wednesdays afford
excellent opportunities for seeking wisdom, changing your circumstances and improving skills,
be they in trade and commerce, music and art, or in communication and writing. Wednesday is
the wild and wily day of the week, so try to go with the flow, don't fight the quirky energies of

Moon in Capricorn - The Moon in Capricorn inspires our ambitions for good
or ill, we just have to be gentle on our souls if we're not there yet. Lead and
manage, but do not manipulate or control. This transit is a time to: build, dig,
organize, exercise discipline, work on foundations, make practical progress on
a dream. This transit concerns leadership issues, security, responsibilities, the
need to be recognize, desire to create environments, time to care of business,
deal with alternative healing for your body and intensification of your powers of
concentration.
After Sagittarius expansiveness, now we feel contraction and a time to pay
attention to our needs for security, duties, obligations, drives and ambitions. It's
good for setting and achieving goals,  'going for it' materially; as now we feel
persistent and ambitious. It is a bad time to ask or obtain anything from patriarchal
and established authorities as traditional modes prevail.
Capricorn brings a desire to create environments and energy is slowed down.
Be careful to avoid insensitivity to others, and stay out of negative and pessimistic
mind sets that will only drag you down. Take this moon transit to deal with your
material plane, especially if you have neglected it too long. Do non-traditional
healing as Capricorn is the sign of the medicine womon.
Moon in Capricorn brings planning magick and takes your ideas giving them
form and hoop. We can tap into the inner wisewoman - ask how form, ritual,
organization or tradition can serve. Trim, prune, plant slow-growing seedlings and
make sure you and your garden have enough water.  Those born under a Capricorn
moon came here to accomplish and understand compassionate leadership. They
may need to learn to respect other rhythms and to love themselves, not just what
they do. They offer us constructive determination and practical support. Moon in
Capricorn is the best time to work magick for organization, ambition, recognition,
career and political matters. Healing rituals for ailments of the calves, ankles or
blood are also done at this time.

Tiu's Day - Tuesday is the day associated with planet Mars. In mythology Mars was
the Roman god of war. If you're wondering how this day came to be named, it's
because to the Norse, Anglo-Saxon, and Germanic people, this day was Tiw's day.
Tuesday actually got its name from the Norse deity Tyr, Tiw, or Tiu who was also
a god of battles and courage. This deity was very similar to the Roman Mars, and
the names of the week became switched and substituted as the Germanic peoples
replaced the older deities with their own gods. So the name was changed from Latin
Deis Martis (Mar's Day) to the Old English Tiwesdaeg.
The Norse god Tiw or Tyr was known for his sense of justice, discipline, and
integrity. This day's planetary influence brings with it the aggression, bravery, and
honor of soldiers, as well as the passion and strength of those of us must fight for
what we believe in.
Tuesday is the day to work any magick that falls in the category of increasing
strength, courage, bravery and passion. All of these intense emotions are linked
to this day's energies, and spells designed around these theme will have extra punch
when performed on this magickal day.
Become a magickal warrior and move forward in your life with strength, courage,
and compassion. Embrace the side of yourself that loves a good challenge and that is
passionate daring! Banish fear, and face your future with strength and conviction.
Believe in yourself and in your dreams, work hard and you will win every time.

Full Moon - The Moon is 180-225 degrees ahead of the Sun. It rises at
sunset and sets at dawn. Therefore a midnight working for when the moon
is directly overhead is best. Now the Moon is at the height of its strength -
spells cast at this time are ideal for completion. The Mother is represented
by the Full Moon.
This is prime time for rituals for prophecy, protection and divination. Any
working that needs extra power such as help finding a new job or healings
for a serious conditions can be done now;. also,  love, knowledge, legal
undertakings,  money and dreams. Astrologically the Sun and Moon are in
opposition (opposite each other in sky and in opposite signs of the zodiac).
She opens and blossoms during the Full Moon in the FLOWER of the
moon plant, with the desire to share her beauty with others. Those born
during a Full Moon phase enjoy companionship and partnership and the
desire to merge deeply. Fulfillment and illumination are their goals.
Keywords for the Full Moon are: fulfillment, illumination, realization, and
experience. It is the time in a lunar cycle that you are given a clear view so
that you can make adjustments to put you back on track to manifesting the
goals you set at the New phase. Go to a public place. Do something with a
friend. LISTEN. Receive awareness. Understand others.

Moon Day - Monday is named after the Moon. The Latin term for Monday is
Dies Lunae (moon's day); in the Old English language, this day was Monandang;
in Greek it was Hermera Selenes.  All those different names and languages translate
to the same thing: the 'day of the moon.'  Working with the different phases of the moon
is an important skill that takes a bit of time for Witches to learn. So why not start today
(if you haven't already) - this day dedicated to the Moon in all of its magickal energies
and aspects?  Magickally Moon Day encourages the lunar energies of inspiration, illusion,
prophetic dreams, emotions, psychic abilities, travel, women's mysteries and fertility.
Why not set up a little alter to honor this Full Moon - light up silver, white and/or pale
blue candles and incense with scents of gardenia, jasmine, lemon, lemon balms, lily, myrrh,
sandalwood and/or Stephanotis.  Lay out your silver jewelry and pearls and add moonstones,
quartz crystals and a sapphire.  Place the tarot cards the Moon and the High Priestess on
this altar. Most importantly, get outside tonight and watch the moon for a while. Enjoy
your favorite melon cut into slices and brew a cup of chamomile tea, enchant it with a little
moon magick and relax. Be imaginative, and create your own personal lunar magick and
witchery.  Go on.....the moonlight becomes you!

Moon in Sagittarius - The Moon in Sagittarius gets us moving; it brings cheerful impatience
and refreshing honesty. We need wide open minds, souls and attitudes but can't sit still.
This transit is a time to: get honest, forgive, dance, hike, explore and connect to the natural
world. This Sagittarius lunar transit brings out our inner-Artemis; we need to roam, to
explore in body and in soul. Our curiosity intensifies. Check out untraveled territory and
connect with the organic world. Have a long talk with the animals in your garden. Work
the soil but hold off on the planting. The restless, enthusiastic Sagittarius loves adventure,
change, and motion. The moon in this sign is a time for philosophy, metaphysics, travelling,
studying and freedom from responsibility.
Sagittarius brings the need to feel free of restrictions, and to be spontaneous. Her restless
and independent nature wishes to explore, and warm friendly vibes make it a good time
for seeing new places, encountering different people and relating to a changing environment.
Open, honest exchanges occur easily during a Sagittarius transit and this transit also brings
an in education, ethics, women's culture and seeing things from an idealistic viewpoint. With
this moon transit comes the itch to travel, and this is the best sign for travel because conditions
are most fortuitious, especial for any long international trips.
Full Moon in Sagittarius - tomorrow the Moon enters its Full phase for this lunar cycle at
7:11AM EDST - a Sagittarius full moon is the best moontime to throw a party and to hold a
ritual. The spiritual and psychic forces are quite evident now and the desire to connect with the
Goddess is strong.
    Those who born under a Sagittarius moon sign are funny, restless, freedom-loving and direct;
they are natural global citizens but need also to look for answers at home. They accept the wild
in all sentient beings.
A Sagittarius moon transit is the best time to work magick for publications, legal matters, travel,
and truth. Healing rituals for the knees, bones, teeth and skin are also done at this time.

Sun Day -  Sun Day brings bright solar energies into our lives and has the magickal correspondences
pf success, promotion, leadership, pride, light, generosity, warmth, fitness and personal growth.
Astrologically the sun symbolizes the conscious self and rules the zodiac sign of Leo. So those ambitious,
successful spells and charms will be heightened by working on this day of the week - Sun Day -
that has the planetary influence of the Sun. So light those sunny candles (gold, yellow, yellow-orange,
neon shakes of orange) and wear some luminous colors and break out your gold jewelry. Eat
an orange today; burn some cinnamon-scented incense to encourage success and wealth today.
Sprinkle some dried marigold petals around your house - or across the threshold - to pull triumph
and protection toward you and your family. Use your imagination and create your own brand of
witchery and magick. Here comes the Sun, and it's your time to shine!
